What to do? Rebellion in the ranks, popularity fading, derision in the media and the sheep looking for new pastures. Things are getting tough. Time to take the reins and lead from the front. But how? I suppose its simple really, a great leader needs to be seen as a great leader and people need to be reminded of that fact. What better way to achieve that than be the recipient of praise from one of the most prestigious national organizations overseeing local government.
Step forward trusted Page, Katie Trueman and sing the praises of the Great Leader and his sidekick, Squire Stephen Thomas of Healthwatch. For all who are shortlisted receive great praise and adoration. Such that all will know of their greatness.
Jonathan Carr-West, CEO of LGiU reportedly said, “We received nearly 200 nominations for the 2018 Councillor Achievement Awards, so it’s a huge achievement to be shortlisted." Before adding, "The shortlisted councillors went above and beyond the call of duty in 2018, making a real difference to their residents.”
He neglected to list what those differences where, so everyone will have to be patient for a few weeks before learning what secret efforts our heroic leader has devoted himself to over the year.
