PISTOLS FOR TWO, COFFEE FOR ONE?

As the venue for Nigel Farage's press conference, today saw Hartlepool in the national media spotlight. The Post was present to hear him announce that (whilst avoiding contesting seats won by the Conservatives in 2017) they would stand a Brexit Party candidate in EVERY Labour Party constituency. Although this is probably good news for the Conservatives on a national level, what impact might such a high profile Brexit Party candidate as Richard Tice have on Labour's chances of retaining Hartlepool? It is understood that Mike Hill will stand for re-election - and Hill's perceived by some as a bit of a 'Marmite' candidate. Having said that, wonder what odds the bookmakers might offer on the Socialist Labour Party's prospective candidate keeping his deposit? ... Watch this space ...
